Journey from drinking to tasting

In days gone by the Sommelier had to make sure that the right food and drink were delivered to the Chef promptly so that the Lords and Ladies of the Court were served quickly and correctly. Very little changes.

My interest in wines stems from the times I have spent travelling and working in countries of the world where wine is grown and enjoyed, my interest in spirits from very much the same encounters, whilst my abiding love of beers originates sitting beside my Grandfather, he with his pint and me with my sherry glass.
